Company History
Paramount Industries, Inc. is the sister company of E. Parrella Co., Inc. (EPCO), founded by Emilio Parrella in 1952 with the invention of the process of repairing and refinishing bowling balls. In 1960 EPCO began the manufacture of bowling balls for all types of small ball bowling such as candlepin, duckpin, five-pin, mini-bowling and others.
EPCO’s commitment to high quality products manufactured to precision standards and unique material formulation processes is combined with outstanding service and innovation. This commitment has led to the development and manufacture of balls for a diversified group of applications. EPCO is considered the leading manufacturer of billiard balls, bocce balls, bowling balls, track balls, and specialty balls for a wide range of uses.
Paramount Industries, Inc. became an affiliated company of EPCO in 1978 as a distributor of EPCO products as well as related products to the retail customer. Although our products are not the least expensive, our products are always of the highest quality and the best value for your dollar. In addition to our highest quality professional model billiard sets, innovations such as glow in the dark, pearlized or clear billiard balls with standard numbers or customized with names or logo have continued the tradition innovation and have created excellent marketing and gift ideas.
BOCCE BALLS
EPCO brand bocce balls are manufactured to precision standards using special formulations of PARTEK resin formulations for high durability and quality. Our bocce sets can be personalized with your name, initials or special logos or designs. In addition to our standard bocce balls, EPCO is proud to have been the first to introduce unique styles such as marbleized, glow in the dark and custom colors manufactured for special occasions or requirements.
